The elevation (1,764 ft. / 537 m) and relatively temperate climate make Bowers Field Airport an ideal location for aviation. Located in central Washington in the beautiful Kittitas Valley, two miles north of Ellensburg, WA, Bowers Field is easily accessible via Interstate 92 and Highway 97.

The airport has two runways. Runway 7-25 is 5,590 feet long, 150 feet wide, and has an asphalt surface. Runway 25 has a GPS non-precision approach. Runway 11-29 is 4,300 feet long, 150 feet wide, has a concrete surface, and is equipped with pilot controlled medium intensity runway lights.

Our hangars at Bowers Field, Ellensburg are located on the tarmac west of the main terminal building. The building contains 20 purpose built T-hangars and one larger end unit. The hangars are constructed on a concrete pad, with a steel shell, hung rolling track, multi-panel sliding doors, power and compressed air. All units are equipped with certified fire extinguishers and lock & key are provided to each tenant.
